Halsey’s “New Americana” Debuts on Hot 100; “Colors” on Bubbling Under Chart

Halsey [Astralwerks]

Thanks to the buzz — and resulting sales and streaming boosts — associated with tracks from her debut album “BADLANDS,” Halsey scores her first career entry on the Billboard Hot 100.

An additional Halsey track lands on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.”

New to the actual Hot 100 is “New Americana.” The song, which is Halsey’s current radio single, debuts at #97 on this week’s chart.

The singer-songwriter’s “Colors,” meanwhile, starts at #20 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 listing. The chart ranks the top songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.

Both appear on “BADLANDS,” which debuted at #2 on both the consumption-driven Billboard 200 and pure sales-driven Top Album Sales.
