Alessia Cara’s “Here” Retains #1 at Rhythmic Radio; Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Joins Top 5

Its airplay may have declined, but Alessia Cara’s “Here” was still rhythmic radio’s most-played song during the December 6-12 tracking week.

It thus earns a second straight week at #1 on the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

This week’s victory comes courtesy the song’s ~6,205 tracking week spins (-150).

Up one place, Post Malone’s “White Iverson” takes #2 on this week’s chart. It earned ~5,882 plays during the official December 6-12 tracking week (+323).

Drake’s former multi-week #1 “Hotline Bling” slips a place to #3 courtesy its ~5,667 weekly plays (-557), while Travi$ Scott’s “Antidote” (#4, +1 | ~4,646, +916) and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” (#5, +4 | ~4,415, +976) complete the Top 5.

“Sorry” is making its first appearance inside the Top 5. Thanks to its impressive week-over-week spin gain of 976, it also ranks as the rhythmic format’s greatest airplay gainer.

— Editor’s Note: The above positions will hold, but the spin counts may be adjusted slightly in the published report that emerges Sunday evening.
