Update: Justin Bieber cancelled his planned “Late Show” performance.
“My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won’t be able to make it to nyc tomorrow for the show. I look forward to making it up to you soon,” wrote the singer in a Tweet late Monday/early Tuesday. “@StephenAtHome thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our ass and we need to deal with it. I will see u soon. Thank you.”

Justin Bieber appeared on the Tuesday, November 17 edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
On Tuesday, November 24, he will pay a visit to CBS’ flagship late night talk show.
Bieber will appear as the musical guest on that night’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” The performance will mark the superstar’s first appearance on the Colbert-hosted iteration of “Late Show.”
The performance comes as part of the singer’s promotional campaign for new album “Purpose.”
The November 24 “Late Show” will also feature interviews with Spike Lee and Carly Simon. CBS’ full listings follow:
