Last week, The Weeknd topped the Billboard Hot 100 with his smash single “Can’t Feel My Face.”
This week, he does so with “The Hills.”
The Canadian artist thus achieves the rare feat of dethroning himself on the all-encompassing single track chart. “The Hills” rises one place to #1 on this week’s Hot 100, while “Can’t Feel My Face” slips to #3. Up one place this week, Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” is sandwiched between the two.
“The Hills” is The Weeknd’s second-straight (and second overall) chart-topper.
In conjunction with #1 Hot 100 position, “The Hills” is #1 on Streaming Songs (18.3 million weekly US streams), #2 on Digital Songs (103,000 weekly US sales), and #3 on Radio Songs (114 million weekly US impressions).
Silento’s “Watch Me” (#4) and Selena Gomez’ “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” (#5) complete the Top 5. The former holds at #4; the latter rises two places to a new peak.
R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” (#6), Fetty Wap’s “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” (#7), OMI’s “Cheerleader” (#8), Drake’s “Hotline Bling” (#9), and Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s “Lean On (featuring MO)” (#10) complete the Top 10. The Drake song is making its inaugural Top 10 appearance.
