Hot 100: “Good For You” Becomes Selena Gomez’ First Top 5; “Same Old Love” Debuts

Selena Gomez [Good For You Cover]

Already the first Selena Gomez song to reach #1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart (and to spend two weeks at #1 on Mediabase’s corresponding pop airplay chart), “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” produces another career milestone.

It becomes her first Top 5 hit on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Thanks to its combination of potent radio, sales and streaming numbers, “Good For You” rises two places to #5.

In doing so, it blasts past its previous peak of #6. Gomez’ earlier hits “Come & Get It” and “The Heart Wants What it Wants” also peaked at #6 on the chart.

The Weeknd’s “The Hills” tops this week’s edition of the Billboard Hot 100.

— “Good For You” is not the only Selena Gomez song on this week’s chart. Her new single “Same Old Love” grabs #43 as the week’s highest-charting debut.
