While it received another healthy dose of support last week, it was ultimately upstaged by Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams,” Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Downtown.” All three songs scored well over 100 Mediabase-monitored adds.
This week, it returns to the #1 spot on Mediabase’s pop add board.
“Levels,” which is already one of the pop format’s Top 30 songs, won support from an additional 31 monitored stations. That count was the week’s greatest for a pop song.
Added by 26 stations, Shaggy’s “Only Love (featuring Pitbull & Gene Noble)” grabs the #2 spot on the weekly add board. The Weeknd’s “The Hills” earns third-most-added on the strength of its 24 adds, while X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” (23 adds) and the aforementioned “Downtown” (22 adds) follow as fourth- and fifth-most-added, respectively.
Other notable pop options: Avicii’s “For a Better Day” (21 adds, 6th-most-added), Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” (19 adds, 7th-most-added, tie), Major Lazer’s “Powerful (featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley)” (19 adds, 7th, tie), Robin Thicke’s “Back Together (featuring Nicki Minaj)” (15 adds, 9th), Daya’s “Hide Away” (14 adds, 10th).
