Billed as Wednesday’s lead guest, Bieber participates extensively in the episode. He converses with host Jimmy Fallon. He helps construct the “Freestylin’ with The Roots” bit. He also closes the show with a performance.
The appearance comes in support of Bieber’s new single “What Do You Mean?” Launched last Friday, the track is the lead cut from his forthcoming studio album.
Taped in the afternoon, Wednesday’s episode also features an appearance by Salman Rushdie. It airs at 11:35PM ET.
