Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Rises in A18-49 But Again Bleeds Viewers

While Tuesday’s edition of “Scream” enjoyed a week-over-week gain in the adults 18-49 demographic, it again suffered declines in adults 18-34 and total viewership.

The episode, which was the sixth of the inaugural season, posted a 0.33 adults 18-49, a 0.40 adults 18-34 rating and a 684,000 viewership sum.

Last week’s broadcast, which delivered series low marks in all three columns, posted a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.42 adults 18-34 rating and a 751,000 viewership average.

This week’s adults 18-34 and viewership marks, therefore, represent series lows.

Despite its unremarkable ratings, “Scream” has been renewed for a second season.
