While NBC has yet to issue a formal lineup for next week’s string of “Tonight Show” episodes, it did confirm two guests for the Monday, June 1 installment.

Appearing on that night’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” which will be the first original installment since May 22, will be actress Melissa McCarthy and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

While McCarthy appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s “Late Night,” this will be her first appearance on his version of “The Tonight Show.”

Sheeran’s previous “Tonight Show” appearance came in June 2014.

NBC’s formal “Tonight Show” listings will emerge later this week.
