Bubble freshmen series “The Odd Couple” and “CSI: Cyber” and the low-rated veteran “The Good Wife” were among the shows formally renewed by CBS Monday.
Issued two days before the network formally presents its schedule, the list of renewals also includes “Person of Interest,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Criminal Minds,” “Elementary,” “Blue Bloods,” “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” “Undercover Boss” and “60 Minutes.”
CBS had previously confirmed “Scorpion,” “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Mom,” “2 Broke Girls” and “Mike & Molly” for the 2015-16 schedule.
Freshmen series “Stalker,” “The McCarthys” and “Battle Creek” did not make the cut.
The network has yet to confirm its plans for veteran “CSI,” but sources maintain it will receive some sort of conclusion during the 2015-16 broadcast year. Ideas being thrown around include a two-hour movie or an abbreviated (4-13 episodes) final season.
