Hot 100: Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” Goes Top 10, Tops Sales Chart

A surge of momentum stemming from the release of “Furious 7” vaults Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” into the Top 10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

Up seventy four places this week, “See You Again” grabs a new peak of #10 on the chart.

The song, meanwhile, reaches #1 on the Digital Songs subchart. Despite not truly receiving its sales boost until the Friday release of the film, which came late in the tracking week, the song moved a healthy 168,000 paid downloads during the official tracking week.

Featured on the “Furious 7” soundtrack and played during the film’s tribute to franchise star Paul Walker, “See You Again” is still selling at a furious pace.

That pace will produce a markedly higher sales total during the current tracking week. When combined with lifts in streaming and airplay, the sales increase will power “See You Again” to an even higher position on next week’s Hot 100.

“See You Again” is Khalifa’s sixth top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It is Puth’s first.
