BANKS’ “Beggin for Thread” Impacts Pop Radio on April 28

On the heels of BANKS’ widely lauded performance on “Late Show with David Letterman,” Capitol Records has given her “Beggin for Thread” a pop impact date.

Per an announcement from the label, the “Goddess” single goes for pop adds on April 28.

Powered by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, “Beggin” reached the top fifteen at alternative radio last year. Capitol recently began pushing the song at hot adult contemporary, and it currently holds the #34 position on that format’s Mediabase airplay chart.

Last Friday, BANKS performed the song on CBS’ iconic “Late Show with David Letterman.” The performance, which took place inside a reflective, hexagonal box, earned glowing reviews from many who watched — including Headline Planet.
