Jacquie Lee, whom MTV named one of its 2015 Artists to Watch, is set to end February with a bang.
The first major development will come on February 24, when her new single “Tears Fall” formally impacts pop and hot adult contemporary radio. Leveraging the buzz surrounding her Artist to Watch selection, “Tears Fall” represents Lee’s attempt to earn a permanent position on the mainstream music radar.
Three days later, Lee will appear on Disney Channel’s “Radio Disney Music Awards” nomination special. Set to air from 7-7:30PM ET on February 27, the nominations broadcast will also feature appearances by high-profile names like Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas, Echosmith and Jessie J.
A New Jersey native, Lee was the runner-up on season five of NBC’s “The Voice.”
