Lea Michele, Ariana Grande Set for FOX’s “Scream Queens”

One collaboration between writer/producer Ryan Murphy and actress Lea Michele ends this spring.

Another will begin later this year.

FOX announced Saturday that Lea Michele, who stars in Murphy’s soon-to-conclude “Glee,” will co-star in the inaugural season of his “Scream Queens.”

Defined as a comedy-horror anthology, that project commences its fifteen-episode first season this coming fall.

In addition to Michele, FOX also announced that Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin and Keke Palmer will co-star in the first season. They join previously announced stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts.

Ariana Grande will recur.

“The first installment in the new anthology series revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders,” says FOX of the show, which was co-created by the “Glee” team of Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
