Recently critiqued by members of the “Transformers” crew as “dumb as a rock” and the “queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star” in a letter that reached the celebrity gossip world, Megan Fox lashes out at bullies in an E! interview.
In fairness, the bullying comments are only intended to hype her role in “Jennifer’s Body,” but they seem particularly timely in the wake of the “Transformers” backlash.
Fox, who calls bullies “the most insecure,” tells E!, “I was bullied and it’s hard, you feel like high school’s never going to be over. It’s four years of your life and you just have to remember the person picking on you has their own problems and their own issues.”
The “Transformers” letter came in the aftermath of a public dialogue exchange between Megan Fox and director Michael Bay; despite starring in the film, the actress has openly–and bluntly–criticized components of the hit summer sequel in media interviews.
“Jennifer’s Body,” starring Fox and Amanda Seyfried, hits theatres this Friday.
