The recipient of the largest weekly spin total–and the largest weekly spin gain–Foo Fighters’ “Something from Nothing” convincingly repeated as the active rock format’s #1 song.
According to Mediabase, “Something” earns a second straight week at #1 on the strength of 1,941 spins. That total represented a gain of 360 over last week’s mark.
Five Finger Death Punch’s “Wrong Side of Heaven,” the number two song, finds itself separated by a considerable margin. It earned 1,519 spins during the October 26-November 1 tracking period.
Slipknot’s “The Devil in I” (#3, 1,483), Royal Blood’s “Figure It Out” (#4, 1,430) and AC/DC’s “Play Ball” (#5, 1,242) close out the weekly top five.
A multi-format hit, “Something from Nothing” is the week’s #1 song on Mediabase’s mainstream rock chart (the aforementioned “active rock” is more comparable to the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart) and its #4 song at alternative.
