Hot 100: Jason DeRulo Now #18, Sam Smith Hits #25, Nick Jonas Top 30

As iTunes and radio chart junkies surely could have guessed, Jason DeRulo’s “Trumpets,” Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One” and Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” are quickly establishing themselves as songs to watch.

All three tracks move into impressive territory on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

“Trumpets,” the follow-up to DeRulo’s “Wiggle,” reaches a new peak of #18 on this week’s chart. The song continues what has been an incredibly successful 2014 for the charismatic performer.

Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One,” meanwhile, rockets twenty seven places to a new high of #25. Quickly establishing itself as a formidable force in the mainstream music world, “Only One” is demonstrating its credibility as a “Stay with Me” follow-up.

After reaching the top forty last week, Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” blasts into the top thirty this week. It claims the #28 position.
