Rep Issues Statement on the Death of Michael Clarke Duncan

“Green Mile” actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away at the age of 54 this morning, adding an unfortunate darkness to the nation’s Labor Day celebration.

The Oscar-nominated actor, who famously stood 6’5″, suffered a heart attack earlier this summer and never fully recovered. He died in Los Angeles Monday morning.

His representative issued a statement to the media:

Michael Clarke Duncan passed away this morning in Los Angeles, said his fiancée, Reverend Omarosa Manigault. The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered. Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.

Headline Planet sends its best wishes to his friends and family.
