Khali’s deal is coming to an end, and according to the story, sources believe WWE is not likely to renew his deal.
Given his popularity in the India market, it is always possible WWE could have a change of heart, but the injury angle works as a valid hedge for WWE. If he leaves, a reason was given for his removal from television. If he stays, the angle still served to get over Mark Henry as a monster.
