Cardi B’s “I Like It,” Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” Earn 6x Platinum Awards In US

“I Like It” and “I Won’t Give Up” just crossed the 6x platinum threshold.

As part of its recent certification update, the RIAA confirms new 6x platinum awards for a pair of bit hits.

The RIAA notes that Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like It” reached 6x platinum in the United States on February 22, 2019.

Five days later, the RIAA issued the same award to Jason Mraz’s hit “I Won’t Give Up.”

A 6x platinum honor confirms 6 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“I Like It” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; “I Won’t Give Up” went as high as #8.
