The title track from fun.’s smash hit album “Some Nights” just reached an impressive new multi-platinum tier in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Some Nights” crossed the 7x platinum threshold on February 27, 2019. The award confirms 7 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Some Nights” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It trails only “We Are Young (featuring Janelle Monae)” as the band’s second-most-certified single. “We Are Young” boasts 9x platinum status as of press time.
