Update: To support her forthcoming album “Head Above Water,” Avril Lavigne paid a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The music star performed the title track (and lead single) on Wednesday’s edition of the late-night talk show.
The album officially arrives this Friday, February 15.

This Friday, Avril Lavigne will release her new album “Head Above Water.”
Wednesday, she supports the upcoming release with a high-profile talk show appearance.
Lavigne appears on Wednesday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The performance is the first of multiple US TV gigs on the docket for Lavigne. She is also set to play Friday morning’s “Good Morning America” and the February 18 “Live With Kelly & Ryan.”
As for Monday’s “Fallon” showcase, it closes an episode that also features Steve Martin & Martin Short and Tim Tebow.
