New Kane Brown songs typically make big opening day splashes on the US iTunes sales chart.

His “Weekend” proved to be no exception.

The song, which launched Wednesday, quickly blasted into the chart’s upper reaches. It is #2 as of press time at 1AM ET Thursday.

Only Drake’s smash “In My Feelings” is currently selling at a faster pace.

Thanks to his popularity, radio support and spotlight during ABC’s “CMA Fest” special, Brown has several other songs inside the chart’s Top 100. Current radio single “Lose It” is currently #28, while his past radio breakthrough “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” is #38. “Heaven,” another past radio hit, is #43.
