WWE really, really wants Monday’s edition of WWE RAW to be a ratings smash.
In addition to the heavily-hyped birthday celebration for The Rock, who delivered big ratings for WWE during the WrestleMania 27 build and is currently featured in box office smash “Fast Five,” the Monday night episode will feature Mike “The Miz” Mizanin getting his stipulated rematch against John Cena for the WWE Championship.
WWE booked Cena to capture the Championship from Miz at last night’s Extreme Rules; interestingly, various wrestling critics and fans felt that Sunday’s show marked the first legitimate main-event-level performance from Mizanin.
