WWE Changed RAW Plans For Rock vs. Cena, Triple H vs. Undertaker

F4WOnline.com reports that WWE made a late change Monday afternoon regarding the direction of its key matches for WrestleMania 28.

At one point Monday, sources say WWE was looking to go in the direction of running Triple H vs. Undertaker at Summerslam and then John Cena vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 28. WWE was always eyeing a big WrestleMania 28 involvement from The Rock, given the Miami location, but it was not a sure thing that WWE would book John Cena vs. The Rock on that show.

A “massive last-minute rewrite,” however, included formally announcing John Cena vs. Rock for next year’s big event. While Triple H vs. Undertaker could still happen at Summerslam given the ambiguity of Triple H’s show-opening promo, RAW seemed to more strongly imply a WrestleMania rematch for the two veterans.

The F4W story says that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was far more indecisive than usual this weekend, with the WrestleMania card reportedly receiving many changes before the pay-per-view went live. The RAW rewrite was an apparent extension of that uncertainty.
