Earlier Monday, news broke that “Bad At Love” reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is Halsey’s first Top 10 hit as a lead artist.

Shortly after that story emerged, the RIAA revealed that “Bad At Love” has been certified platinum in the United States.

Issued on December 8, the award confirms 1 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Halsey also received a platinum certification for her earlier song “Castle.”

Halsey now boasts 6 platinum singles as a lead artist. She also appears as a featured artist on The Chainsmokers’ 7x-platinum “Closer.”
