“American Idol” waved goodbye to a few featured contestants Thursday night, but the second night of the show’s “final judgment” on the top 24 featured no surprises on par with Chris Medina’s surprise Wednesday night cut.
That meant that featured contestants like Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, Thia Megia and Casey Abrams will all be taking the stage for America’s vote next week.
Unlike in past seasons, there will only be one semifinal round–the males perform on Tuesday, the females perform on Wednesday, and the results are revealed Thursday.
