Urban radio has a new #1, and it comes from two longtime music industry forces.

Ye’s “I Can’t Wait (featuring Lauryn Hill),” that new #1, rises five places to claim the lead position on Mediabase’s urban radio chart. The song received ~5,404 spins during the August 2-8 tracking period, besting last week’s sum by a massive 1,588 plays.

Yung Miami’s “Spend Dat” holds at #2, as Tems’ “What You Need” stays in the #3 location.

Chris Brown’s “It Depends (featuring Bryson Tiller)” rises a level to #4, and Kehlani’s “Folded” drops a place to #5.

Drake’s “2 Hard 4 The Radio,” last week’s #1 song, drops to #7.
