After weeks of rumors and speculation, BTS has finally made the news official: a new single is coming in May.

Entitled “Butter,” the single will arrive at 12AM ET on May 21 (late Thursday/early Friday).

“Butter,” like the group’s colossal hit “Dynamite,” will be an English-language track.

“‘Butter’ is a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS,” notes a HYBE press release about the new “summer smash hit.”

BTS recently made waves by performeing the aforementioned “Dynamite” at the Grammy Awards; the song was also up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
