Nearly two months remain until the 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony, during which we may see multiple shifts in momentum.
For now, however, oddsmakers are forecasting a big night for Billie Eilish. Lizzo and Lil Nas X are also leading the odds for key trophies.
According to the latest lines from XBet, Eilish is currently a -140 favorite for Best New Artist (a $140 bet would win $100). Lizzo is a close #2 at +125 (a $100 bet would win $125), while Lil Nas X is #3 at +800 (a $100 bet would win $800).
Eilish is also the frontrunner in the Album of the Year race, as her “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” is a -140 favorite. Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” is considered second-most likely to win at +250, while Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” is third at +300.
Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” is leading the Song Of The Year race at +130, ahead of Eilish’s “bad guy” (+200) and Taylor Swift’s “Lover” (+300).
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)” leads the Record Of The Year race at +110. “bad guy” and “Truth Hurts” are next up at +200 and +400, respectively.
It is obviously worth noting that the races are still very close. Some oddsmakers, moreover, had Eilish as the favorite in all four races earlier this week.
