At around 12:30PM ET Friday afternoon, Kanye West dropped his long-awaited new album “Jesus Is King” on digital platforms.

Later Friday night, he is expected to perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

On the heels of his surprise appearance on Thursday’s episode, ABC noted that he will also be appearing Friday. The official ABC website vaguely lists him as a celebrity guest, but a press alert calls him the “musical guest.” Headline Planet will provide an update if more clarity arrives.

Friday’s other “Kimmel” guests include John Krasinski, Jason Alexander, Tracy Morgan and Paul Shaffer.
