The title of Kelsea Ballerini’s new single may contain a question mark, but there is nothing uncertain about the initial audience reaction: it is clearly positive.

As of press time at 3:50PM ET Friday, “homecoming queen?” is #4 on the all-genre US iTunes sales chart.

It, moreover, is the week’s second-best-selling new release, trailing only John Mayer’s “Carry Me Away” (#2).

Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” (#1), Post Malone’s “Circles” (#3) and Camila Cabello’s “Shameless” (#5) also occupy Top 5 positions.

“Homecoming Queen?” is launching at country radio as Ballerini’s next official single. It begins a new chapter for the artist, whose previous era ended with the chart-topping “Miss Me More.”
