After 19 weeks with Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)” in the pinnacle position, the Billboard Hot 100 has recently been enjoying variance.

Two weeks ago, Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” reached #1 on the chart. Last week, Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” took over the top spot.

This week, we have another new #1 in the form of Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts.”

The song rises from last week’s #3 position, thanks to the impact of ongoing buzz, growing radio exposure and the artist’s show-stealing moment at the MTV Video Music Awards. The song represents the emerging superstar’s first #1.

“Señorita” slips to #2 this week, while “bad guy” drops one spot to #3.

Up ten places, Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down” earns #4 in conjunction with the “Lover” album release. “Old Town Road” dips one place to #5.

Lil Tecca’s “Ran$om” (#6, -1), Chris Brown’s “No Guidance (featuring Drake)” (#7, -1), Khalid’s “Talk” (#8, -2), Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” (#9, -1) and Taylor Swift’s “Lover” (#10, +9) complete the Top 10.
