Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” and Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” have spent the past month jockeying for position atop the Mediabase adult contemporary radio chart.

This week, “You Say” gets the edge. The song returns to the #1 position it held earlier in August.

“You Say” received 2,266 spins during the August 25-31 tracking period. The mark trails last week’s count by 74 but keeps the Contemporary Christian crossover hit slightly ahead of “Girls Like You.”

The Maroon 5 tune, which holds at #2, received 2,261 spins (-87).

P!nk’s “Walk Me Home” spends another week at #3, while Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” rises one spot to #4. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” concurrently drops one rung to #5.
