Kygo & Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love” completes its ascent to the top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

Up two places from last week’s position, “Higher Love” seizes #1 from Gorgon City & Kaskade’s “Go Slow (featuring Romeo).”

“Higher Love” becomes Kygo’s third #1 on the chart, which uses DJ playlists to rank the most popular songs in night clubs. The song meanwhile marks the 14th chart-topper for the late Whitney Houston.

Released earlier this summer, “Higher Love” finds Kygo reworking Houston’s 1989/1990 cover of the Steve Winwood classic.

Madonna’s “I Rise” rises two places to #2 this week, while Billy Porter’s “Love Yourself” ascends three spots to #3.

Camelphat & Jake Bugg’s “Be Someone” declines two places to #4, and Sting’s “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free (2019)” ascends four positions to #5.
