Powered by strong opening week sales and solid first-week streams, Kygo & Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love” debuts on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track, which is a Kygo-led rework of the late Houston’s 1990 cover of the classic song, starts at #63 on this week’s chart.

“Higher Love” marks Houston’s first Hot 100 debut since “Million Dollar Bill” in September 2019. It is her 40th overall Hot 100 entry.

“Higher Love” meanwhile yields Kygo’s sixth trip to the Hot 100 chart.

Along with making its Hot 100 bow, “Higher Love” grabs #2 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.
