In addition to reaching #1 on the US iTunes sales chart, Logic’s “Homicide (featuring Eminem)” enjoyed a big first day on the major streaming platforms.
“Homicide,” in fact, ranked as Friday’s top song on the US Spotify service. Indeed, it takes #1 on the daily US chart thanks to its 2.721 million opening day streams.
The song meanwhile generated 5.178 million Friday streams on a worldwide basis, which is enough for #2 on the Global Spotify Chart. Only billie eilish’s “bad guy” had a bigger day (5.797 million).
“Homicide” concurrently starts at #2 on the daily US Apple Music chart and #3 on the daily Global Apple Music Chart. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)” places higher on both charts; “bad guy” is higher on the global chart.
