ARIA just released its final Australian Top 50 Singles Chart of 2018.

The chart features an all-time holiday classic in the #1 position.

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” that classic, pays its first visit to the chart’s summit. The song is up nine places from last week’s position.

First released in 1994, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” seizes the throne from Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next.” That song slips to #4 after a six-week stint at #1.

Unchanged from last week’s positions, Post Malone & Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” (#2) and Ava Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” appear in between “AIWFCIY” and “thank u, next.”

Up thirteen places, Wham!’s “Last Christmas” takes #5 on this week’s chart.

The balance of the top ten is as follows: George Ezra’s “Shotgun” at #6, Halsey’s “Without Me” at #7, Band Aid 30’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas” at #8, Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” at #9, and Marshmello & Bastille’s “Happier” at #10.
