Update: The Thanksgiving edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” featured an appearance by Jerry Seinfeld.

The comedy icon performed the monologue as part of a bit in which Fallon had eaten too much Thanksgiving food to take the stage.

He also participated in an interview.

Last year, Jerry Seinfeld and Robert Irwin appeared on the Thanksgiving edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

They also appear on this year’s Thanksgiving episode.

Both join host Jimmy Fallon for interviews. Seinfeld also tells monologue jokes, while Irwin brings animals onto the set.

Along with Seinfeld and Irwin, Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” also features an appearance by comedian Brian Regan.

The episode will air after NBC’s football coverage and local news broadcasts.
