“thank u, next” and “Close To Me” have landed on the Z100 playlist.

The extent to which the Republic Radio team will formally promote Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” remains unclear.

Several stations are, however, already providing support.

That list of supporters includes Z100, which officially added the song to its playlist this week.

Dubbed New York’s #1 Hit Music Station, the influential Z100 also picked up Ellie Goulding x Diplo’s “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee).”

“Close To Me” already holds a Top 50 position at pop radio. If it maintains its pace from the past two days, “thank u, next” could go Top 50 (if not Top 40) this week.

Headline Planet will publish its complete pop radio add recap Tuesday night.
