Update: “The Grinch” star Benedict Cumberbatch appeared as the lead interview guest on Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Cumberbatch’s interview included a “Try Not To Laugh” challenge.

In addition to Cumberbatch, Friday’s episode featured a chat with Minka Kelly and stand-up comedy from Orlando Leyba.

Benedict Cumberbatch, who last visited “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September 2017, returns to the show Friday night.

Cumberbatch appears as the episode’s lead interview guest. The discussion is in support of Cumberbatch’s new movie “The Grinch,” which opens on November 9.

Friday’s “Tonight Show” also features appearances by Minka Kelly and Orlando Leyba. Kelly appears for an interview, while Leyba delivers stand-up comedy.
