Mike Posner’s “Song About You,” Shawn Mendes’ “Lost In Japan” Join Top 40 At Pop Radio

“Song About You” and “Lost In Japan” make their debut on this week’s pop chart.

The new singles from Mike Posner and Shawn Mendes officially enter the Top 40 at pop radio this week.

Posner’s “Song About You,” which was below last week’s chart at #41, enters this week’s listing at #36.

The new Posner single received 1,308 spins during the September 23-29 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 510.

Mendes makes the chart with “Lost In Japan (featuring Zedd).” The remix did not arrive until late in the tracking week, but it still managed to score 1,246 spins. The count yields a #37 debut.

The original version had been receiving some airplay prior to the launch of the remix. It was last week’s #78 song with 90 spins.
