Earlier this week, reports emerged that Aretha Franklin was in grave condition.

Thursday, a representative for the artist confirmed that she has passed away. Suffering from pancreatic cancer, the “Queen Of Soul” was 76.

Franklin is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and talented artists in music history. Her discography includes such classics as “Respect,” “Natural Woman,” “Chain Of Fools,” “Think,” and “Baby I Love You.”

When news of her medical condition broke, music industry members and fans universally expressed their admiration for the artist’s impact.
