Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” Hits #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Other Songs Also Rising

The icon’s songs are performing very well on iTunes.

News of “Queen Of Soul” Aretha Franklin passing broke Thursday morning.

As fans remember the iconic artist, they are purchasing her music on the US iTunes store.

The late Franklin currently boasts four of the Top 5 songs on the store’s all-genre sales chart.

Her beloved “Respect” is #1, while “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” sits at #2. “I Say A Little Prayer” and “Chain Of Fools” follow at #4 and #5, respectively.

Franklin has two additional songs — “Think” at #12 and “Freeway Of Love” at #19 — in the Top 20.
