Nearly twenty six years after its release, “Gold” reaches new peaks on the key album charts.

ABBA | Gold: Greatest Hits

Thanks to the release of “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again,” an ABBA greatest hits compilation rises to a new high on the Billboard 200.

“Gold: Greatest Hits,” that album, soars sixty-one places to a new peak of #25.

The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on overall consumption activity: pure sales + TEA (track sales/10) + SEA (track streams/1250 for paid services + track sales/3750 for free services).

“Gold” generated the greatest amount of activity on the pure sales front. It, in fact, rises to a new peak of #6 on the Top Album Sales Chart (last week’s position of #27 was a peak at the time).

First released in September 1992, “Gold” has logged a total of 140 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has made 144 appearances on Top Album Sales.
