Featuring appearances by Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters and Sophie Turner, this past Thursday’s “Late Late Show With James Corden” fared well from a ratings standpoint.

It, in fact, was the most-watched episode in months.

According to CBS, the episode drew 1.7 million live+same-day viewers. The figure was the show’s best since the December 14, 2017 episode (Hugh Jackman, John Cena).

Airing from London, Thursday’s episode featured a new edition of “Carpool Karaoke” with McCartney. Turner and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl participated in the nightly discussion; Grohl and his bandmates later performed “Best Of You.”
