The new 5 Seconds Of Summer album is predictably commanding early interest at the US iTunes store.

“Youngblood,” which launched on the store late Thursday night, quickly reached #1 on the store’s all-genre album sales chart. It still occupies that slot as of press time at 1AM ET.

The 5SOS album is not the only new release with a prominent position. Christina Aguilera’s new “Liberation” follows at #2, while Mike Shinoda’s new “Post Traumatic” is #3.

Rebelution’s “Free Rein” and State Champs’ “Living Proof,” also new releases, follow at #4 and #5, respectively.

The enduring “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack (#6), Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” (#7), Kids See Ghosts’ “Kids See Ghosts” (#8), Mayday Parade’s new “Sunnyland” (#9), and Jay Rock’s new “Redemption” (#10) complete the Top 10.
