Maroon 5’s “Wait” is still one of the format’s Top 5 songs, but hot adult contemporary stations are not delaying their support for the follow-up.

“Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B),” that follow-up, earns this week’s most added honor.

“Girls Like You” won impact week support from 38 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations. The count convincingly ranks as the week’s best.

P!nk’s “Whatever You Want,” which earns second place on the add board, landed at 19 stations.

Meghan Trainor’s “Let You Be Right” follows in third with 13 pickups, while an add count of 11 slots Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” in fourth.

U2’s “Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way,” which landed at 10 new stations, follows in fifth place.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: A Great Big World’s “Younger” (9 adds, 6th-most, tie), Train’s “Call Me Sir (featuring Cam & Travie McCoy)” (9 adds, 6th-most, tie), Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry” (7 adds, 8th-most), Marshmello & Anne-Marie’s “FRIENDS” (5 adds, 9th-most, tie), and Snow Patrol’s “Don’t Give In” (5 adds, 9th-most, tie).
