“Never Be The Same,” Camila Cabello’s multi-week pop radio #1, continues moving toward the top of the Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.

The song, which was #5 last week, should improve to #3 on this week’s listing.

“Never Be The Same” received 3,151 spins during the first four days of the May 20-26 tracking period. Up 9.8% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Never Be The Same” at #3 on the building chart.

While “Never Be The Same” does not maintain a huge lead over Bebe Rexha’s building #4 “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” (3,130 spins, -6.7%), it possesses the clear momentum advantage. If both songs roughly remain on their current trajectories, “Never Be The Same” should widen its lead as the chart goes final.

It faces no other threats from below.

— “Never Be The Same” is meanwhile battling for a fourth week atop the pop radio airplay chart. It faces a legitimate threat in the form of Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s former #1 “The Middle,” which is within 200 spins of “Never Be The Same” — and currently on a more favorable trajectory.
