Making good on the mid-week projection, Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” rises to #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s “Finesse.”

It represents the first pop radio chart-topper for Maren Morris and Grey. It is the second such hit for Zedd, who previously topped the pop chart with his Alessia Cara collaboration “Stay.”

“The Middle” received ~17,229 spins during the March 25-31 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by 1,761 plays.

Only one song — Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood” (+1,875) — enjoyed a greater gain.

Played ~16,235 times during the tracking week (-203), the aforementioned “Finesse” falls to #2.

Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” rises two places to #3 with ~14,124 spins (+859), while a play count of ~13,935 (-1,321) brings G-Eazy & Halsey’s “Him & I” down one spot to #4.

NF’s “Let You Down,” which received ~13,088 tracking period plays (-1,170), falls one spot to #5.
